Audiobook Extract: Lost for Words by Edward St Aubyn

It’s bank holiday weekend so with Monday off work I’ve also taken time off from reviewing, luckily for us Macmillan have sent me a snippet from the Lost for Words audiobook. I read and reviewed Lost for Words by Edward St Aubyn last Monday, so this is a nice little tie in.

Alex Jennings is narrating and I can’t think of a better voice for our omniscient narrator. In my mind – having never met Aubyn – it reads as he would have.

It’s an interesting section of the audio book to select, with mention of Greek trajedy. The Elysian prize falls apart as if it were destined to.

Did you enjoy the snippet?
