It’s the last day of Book Blogger Appreciate Week and it’s been a blast blogging and reading everyone else’s posts.
This last post is on avoiding blogger burn out and keeping your writing and reading fresh and the only advice I have on that is to take a break.
Whenever I feel like I am doing something for the sake of it I stop and regroup. Sometimes I feel like I’m only reading to review and I make sure that I spend some time away from the blog and read for the enjoyment of a new book.
Sometimes I feel like I have to rush to finish a book to get the review posted, and I try to remind myself to slow down and enjoy it – because that’s what it is about.

Exactly, I don’t say that to myself nearly enough.

By going on holidays! And it doesn’t hurt to do something like BBAW, which gives me all the warm fuzzies!

I’ve loved doing BBAW, but I’ve let the side down with commenting – I need to allocate some time to go over everyone’s posts.

That is a really good idea to stop and reflect on why you are doing it, because it can really help. 🙂
